Did you ever think that going on a journey that (at the time seemed like a good idea) ended you up at the bottom of a mountain face-to-face with a slimy, serpent-like figure, with green glowing eyes staring right back at you? Well, I couldn’t. Frankly, I don’t do so good in dark places with evil creatures lurking around that would want to eat me. Although I have never experienced anything like this, I would be honored to tell you something that I have experienced internally. This is a conflict between a little hobbit and a creature, that neither you nor I could ever imagine. The hobbit, Bilbo, and a creature named Gollum, have a riddle game, if Bilbo can answer all of Gollum's riddles then the nasty little creature has to show Bilbo the way out of the dark, musty, goblin smelling mountain. If Gollum wins this riddle game then our little, hungry, scared friend will expearience a horrible fate of being eaten, this creature was also very hungry as well.
This conflict is a game, in fact, a not so fun game of riddles. Some of these riddles happen to be:It can't be seen, it cannot be felt,Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt. It lies behind stars and under hills, And empty holes it fills. It comes first and follows after, End life, kills laughter. This was only one of the riddle proposed by our nasty friend, Gollum. Unfortunately for Gollum, Bilbo knew the answer, it was all around them, "the dark," said Bilbo confidently. ... To be improved.
This was a good conflict! There were so many to choose from! I loved the conflict between Bilbo and Gollum. You have used a very distinct voice in this response. I would eliminate the sentence I have underlined as it seems out of focus with your topic.
